Oct 6, 2008 - Heh, even if you DID go... If it came to you versus Chris Halordain Tsai (Winner of the Senior Californian Division), I'm afraid that he would be the victor. His strategy was near flawless, and it would seem that he's good at taking out his opponents quickly as well as dealing with the usual Trick Room teams. Most of the trainers at the showdown were actually pretty skilled battlers (especially those from Japan).

Oct 6, 2008 - Sorry... lol. And he is really good, after all, he made it to the final four of the Pokemon Video Showdown at Orlando, Florida. His water team was really good and I can see how he made it that far. Let me tell you, I made it to the top 8 of New York, but I still lost to Jeremy, the champion, due to massive luck hax on his part, but on well. Especially the way he dealt with my Trick Room team. He was another impressive one. However, he just simply could not handle a Hailstorm team. XD.

Oct 6, 2008 - lol. And I used one myself: Bronzong, Togekiss, Swampert, and Spiritomb (Didn't have an extra Reaper Cloth to make Dusknoir). On Chris' water team was Ludicolo, Vaporeon, Kingdra, and Slowking.

Oct 6, 2008 - It's too bad I couldn't make one, and ironically someone gave me a reaper cloth just recently. Oh well... There's always next year, after all. And water teams are some of the greatest. You should challenge him if you ever see him or get the chance, he'll give you some good experience on using Water types, as well as my friend, okeanos317. He's a very good water trainer and battler in general.

Chris Halordain Tsai (the top 4 semi-finalist at the showdown), or okeanos317 (My friend, Aramis, the water type expert)? Each and both of them have very good strategies and can read their opponents pretty well at the same time. But, their strategies are slightly different.

Oct 6, 2008 - lol. I see. And yes, it would indeed be fun. The thing with him is that he likes to predict what his opponent will do, so be careful when facing him and don't make too obvious moves. But, you know what? It's only a game then again, but when it gets down to it, tournment style, that's when you should really put all of that training to good use. Give it your best shot, don't let your guard down, and never give up!

Oct 6, 2008 - yeah, too bad that doesnt always work against me. I like to teach them unusual moves that are hard to predicate, I like to keep people guessing, and it does work sometimes, like my Raticate knows Flame Wheel. (i was very bored when I did that XD)

Oct 6, 2008 - Sometimes it MAY work, at other times, the moves may do less damage than you think. lol. Unless, your opponent is a hacker. And, so far I'm the only person with a Reflect Weavile. Heh, it almost feels like I invented the moveset I put on it. XD.
