It was already noon and the shock from Joe's kiss hadn't worn off yet. I've never smiled this much for a long time. I just felt so..complete with Joe back. The phone suddenly went off and I found my self springing after it. "Hello?" "Bella, hey!". Oh my god, it was Joe. It had only been what, like 3 hours since I last saw him, but hearing his voice made me smile. "Hey, what's up?" "Uh not much really..with you?" "Same.." I then ran up to my room, skipping steps along the way , and I jumped on my bed. "So uh Bella, we have a concert here tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come.." "Uh sure, I just have to ask Carly if I can go.." "Sweet so call me back with your, well her answer" "Ok.." "I love you.." "I love you too.." I jumped off my bed and ran down the hall to Carly's room. She wasn't in there.."Amy, where's Carly?" "Uh I think she left.." "Where?" "On a trip.." "Without telling me?!" "You were so pissed yesterday and you never came out of your room so she couldn't" I stood there and just stared at her. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I guess it is kind of a good thing that she left I mean now I can do what I want, but I'd have to bring Amy along..Greaaaat. I quickly dialed Joe's number and he said that it was fine. Luckily I knew how to drive. It was 6:30 when we got to the stadium, they would be going on in about half an hour. "Hey Joe!" "Oh hey!" He hugged me. I was actually suprised to find myself pulling away. We all knew eachother so there was no need for an introduction. Well, most of us knew eachother.."Hi, I'm A.J.!" "Bella," I said, sticking out my hand. I already knew that Joe and A.J. had gone out and I've seen her once or twice but I never got to really know her. Getting to know her was a BIG mistake. Amy had run off with Nick to god know's where and Kevin had gone to the bathroom so thing were pretty..awkward."Um Joe, can Bella and I have a moment alone?" "Uh sure," he looked at me nervously & left. "Listen Bella, Joe is a really special guy and he deserves a very special girl. I'm going to need you to do me a favor..Stay away from him!" Honestly, I wasn't suprised by what she had just said. The only words that escaped my lips were,"Excuse me?" "Did I stutter? Stay away from him," and with that,our conversation was over. Once she had left, Joe walked and and plopped down beside me. "What happened?"Nothing.." He gave me a look and didn't push the subject any further. It was almost time for hem to go on so he kissed me (briefly) and then got up. He held out his hand and I took it and followed him out. Amy, being her creeper self, popped out of nowhere and asked me what had happened. I gave her the same answer I had given Joe,"Nothing." She didn't believe me. It was now 9:00 and the concert had ended. I was in another room and Amy had gone home early... I walked out of the room to congatulate Joe and his brothers but I guess A.J. beat me to it. When I walked outside I saw something that shook me. A.J. and Joe were..you guessed it kissing. I froze. I couldn't move. I couldn't speak. I couldn't breathe. I single tear rolled down my cheek and another feeling took over my body. Was there a name for this feeling. Yes, there was. Loathing. Pure unadulterated loathing. Apprently, Joe saw me standing there and pushed A.J. away. "Bella.." was all that he said. If said anything more, I didn't hear it becuase by the time he reached the first l in my name, i had run away. To only make matters worse, the rain had begun to fall again. The drops were heavier than ever. They hurt as they landed on my head. I didn't know what hurt more. The raindrops pounding against my head or the sight of Joe and A.J. I should have known. Fame does change people. I had now stopped running and I could hear a car pull up beside me. "Bella..Bella wait." He grabbed my arm and spun me around, "I can explain." "Save it for someone who cares Joe." I couldn't break free from his grasp. "Bella, she kissed me!" "Joe, I knew you could sing, I knew you could dance, but I didn't know you could act. Thanks for making me believe that I actually meant something to you." I managed to free myself and I took off running once more.
