Les Misérables 2008 - Het Beslissende Gevecht*sorry voor het 'rare' einde.*In 1991 werd Les Misérables voor de eerste keer opgevoerd in Nederland, deze versie draaide tot 1992. Veel Nederlandstalige acteurs hebben indertijd hun opwachting gemaakt en sindsdien de kans gehad om nog in vele andere musicals te mogen spelen. Vanaf (mei 2008) wordt de musical voor de tweede keer in Nederland opgevoerd, met een nieuwe generatie musicalacteurs. De try-outs begonnen op 1 april 2008 en op 20 april 2008 is de musical in première gegaan in het nieuwe Luxor Theater te Rotterdam. Deze tweede versie (2008) zal hier bijna tot het einde van het jaar op de planken staan. Zowel de huidige versie als die uit 1991 zijn geproduceerd door Joop van den Ende. Volgens een uitspraak van één van de spelers, Carlo Boszhard, zou de uitvoering van 2008 de grootste, de mooiste musical ever zijn.
